Welcomes you to the 69th Annual Poke Sallet Festival!
Poke Sallet Idol auditions are opening up, and it's your time to shine! Join us on Tuesday, May 7th, and Thursday, May 9th, from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Harlan Center located at 201 S. Main St, Harlan, KY.
Step into the spotlight and grab your chance to win big – a grand prize of $1,000 awaits the overall winner at the Poke Sallet Festival (May 30th-June 1st). Mark your calendars and warm up those vocal cords! This is your moment to become a star at the Poke Sallet Festival!

Join the Harlan Rotary Club at the Harlan County Courthouse as they host the Annual Run for the Hills 5k during the Poke Sallet Festival on Saturday, June 3rd at 8AM.
Registration & Fees:
Pre-Register $20.00 by May 26, 2023
Day of race $25.00 (No T-shirt Guarantee)
This will be a timed race and there will be trophies for age divisions including 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40+ in both male and female. Registration will open at 7:00 a.m. on the day of the race and start time will be 8 a.m.
Bring out your furriest friends and join us for the Pet Show at the 68th Annual Poke Sallet Festival in downtown Harlan sponsored by Harlan County Friends of the Shelter and Tri-City Paws!
Registration for the Pet Show will begin at 10AM, and the show will begin at 11AM!
Applications for the 2024 Miss Harlan County Scholarship Pageant are now available at Harlan High School and Harlan County High School! This pageant is open to senior girls who will graduate as part of the Class of 2024. Applications are due back to the Harlan Center by Monday April 8 at 5 p.m. There will be an informational meeting in the Gallery of the Harlan Center on Wednesday April 10 at 5 p.m. for any interested participants.

$5 Students & Children
Children 3 and Under are free
Join us for the Poke Sallet Festival Car Show located at the Harlan County Courthouse during the 68th Annual Poke Sallet Festival hosted by the Harlan County Christian School!
Registration begins at 10AM.
